I identify with the characters of my childhood video games. I live my life in their image. When my mother used to ask me to turn off my game console to come to the table, I would tell her that I was first going to kill myself. Knowing that my character would die quickly, I would take all sorts of risks. Those were my best games. Today I have mourned my own death and that allows me to live life fully.

It would drive my parents crazy
My mom would ask me to shut the T.V. off and come to dinner

It would make her laugh but it was serious to me
That’s when I would play my best game
